• The Jennies (16-2-1) advanced to the MIAA tournament semifinals and will host No. 4 seed Central Oklahoma (13-4-2) at 3 p.m. at the South Recreation Complex in Warrensburg Friday, Nov. 12. The other semifinal contest, which will also be at South Rec. Friday, will feature No. 2 seed Emporia State (16-2-1) vs. No. 3 seed Northwest Missouri (13-5-1) at noon.
• The Jennies are coming off a thrilling 3-2 overtime victory against eighth-seeded Fort Hays State on Sunday, Nov. 7 in the quarterfinals.

Ashleigh Martin netted a goal in the 92nd-minute of overtime to give the top-seeded and No. 11-ranked University of Central Missouri Jennies the 3-2 win over Fort Hays State.

Kassie Newsom scored the other two goals in the contest in the win over the Tigers, raising her team-high total to 17, while
Katelyn Poertner assisted on Newsom's first goal of the match for her first-career assist..

 Last meeting: The Jennies and the Bronchos met once earlier this season with UCM winning the match 3-1 in Edmond, Okla.

UCO leads UCM in postseason series history, 2-1-0, including a 2-1-0 mark in MIAA tournament play. The Jennies and Bronchos last met in the MIAA tournament in 2017, with Central Missouri downing Central Oklahoma in Warrensburg, 3-0.

Kassie Newsom is second in all of NCAA Division II women's soccer with 47 points, and ranks third in both total assists (13) and fourth in assists per game (0.72). She is second in points per game at 2.61.
• Newsom broke a record of having the most assists on Friday with 13, the old record was by Jada Scott in 2017 with 11 after winning the National Championship.
