UCM Athletics Hall of Famer Bryanna Cote Named PWBA Player of the Year

ARLINGTON, Texas – UCM Athletics Hall of Famer and former Jennies bowling All-American standout Bryanna Cote (Caldwell) was named the Professional Women's Bowling Association Player of the Year for 2021, the organization announced Monday, Nov. 1.

Cote, who bowled for the Jennies from 2005-08, finished at the top of the season-long points list and won the PWBA ITRC Classic. In addition, she had three runner-up finishes and six championship-round appearances during the 2021 season.

During her time with Jennies bowling, Cote was four-time National TenPin Coaches Association (NTCA) All-American. She was named the NTCA Division II/III National Rookie of the Year as a freshman and the Division II/III National Player of the Year all four years. She ranks second in school history with a 202.79 career average.

Cote was inducted into the UCM Athletics Hall of Fame in 2015.
