TOPEKA, Kan. -- No. 8 University of Central Missouri Jennies Soccer scored a goal in the 107th-minute of double overtime to earn a 2-1 win over the Washburn Ichabods on Friday, Oct. 22, at Yager Stadium.
The Jennies (13-1-1, 7-0-1 MIAA) are scheduled to travel to Emporia, Kan., to take on No. 15 Emporia State (13-1-1, 7-1-0 MIAA) for an MIAA match up on Sunday, Oct. 24, at 2 p.m.

Caroline Cole struck a perfectly placed feed from
Kassie Newsom inside the left post with three minutes to go in the second extra time period, giving the Jennies the thrilling 2-1 victory.
The goal from Leslie was her seventh of the season, while Cole's game-winner marked her fourth goal of 2021. Newsom's assist was her team and MIAA-best ninth of the season, respectively.

Lindsey Johnson moved to 13-1-1 in-goal after making six saves in 107 minutes and giving up just one goal.
The Jennies and Ichabods (7-5-2, 3-4-1 MIAA) shared the same shots tally, 12-12, and shots on goal, 8-8.
Mackenzie Menke scored the Washburn goal, while Khloe Schuckmann had three shots – all on-goal – to pace the Ichabods.
Washburn goalkeeper Raegan Wells (7-5-2) took the loss in-goal after allowing two goals and making six saves in 107 minutes.
