TOPEKA, Kan. (Dec. 17, 2020) - Central Missouri Jennies Basketball continued their hot start to the season picking up their sixth straight win, 67-45 over Washburn. UCM finishes their season-long four-game road trip 4-0.

• Each team grabbed 33 rebounds, the first time this season UCM didn't have the rebounding edge. Each team also scored 32 points in the paint.

The Jennies extended their lead to 13, 33-20 when Brooke Littrell hit a jumper midway through the frame. The lead stayed in double-figures the rest of the way. After a three minute scoreless drought, Nija Collier ended the half with a three in the corner at the buzzer as the half ended with the Jennies on top by 16, 38-22.
• Washburn made a bit of a run to cut the Jennies lead down to 10 midway through the third. They outscored the Jennies 8-2 at one point, but UCM came back, helped out by a Collier layup and a foul. UCM held the Ichabods scoreless over the final 2:28 and led 52-38 going to the final frame.
• It took a while for the shots to fall in the fourth, but when they did, UCM was able to build a 20-point lead. Brooke Littrell ended that with a three in the corner to put the Jennies up 55-38. Washburn didn't score until there were fewer than four minutes left and the Jennies pushed their lead to 23 and went on to win 67-45.
