No. 1 Jennies Soccer shutout St. Cloud State

Warrensburg, Mo. (September 6, 2018)—The No. 1 Jennies Soccer team defeated St. Cloud State 3-0, improving its record to 3-0-0 on the season.

How It Happened
• It took some time for the Jennies to get on the board as no team was on the scoreboard until the second half.
• Senior Courtney Killian was the first to score for the Jennies at the 48th minute mark with an assist from Makayla Toth. That goal was Killian's third goal of the season.
• Senior All-American Jada Scott was next to score for the Jens in the 74th minute mark, scoring her third goal on the season.
• Ten minutes later the Jens scores their third and final goal when Kelsey Mueller gets a foot on it in the 85 minute mark.
• For the game, UCM outshot SCSU 25-7 overall and the Jens lead in shots on goal 11-4.

Jennies Stat Leaders
• Courtney Killian scored one goal, and finished with seven shots and one shot on goal.
• Jada Scott scored one goal for the Jennies, and finished with four shots and three shots on goal.
• Kelsey Mueller one goal to help the Jennies, two shots and one shot on goal.
• Goalkeeper Jordyn Atagi added four saves for the Jens.

For the Huskies
• Monica Majeski led the Huskies in shots with two, while Hannah Marion, Maria Kass, and Karlee Krebs added one shot and one shot on goal.

•This 3-0 victory against St. Cloud State is goalkeeper Jordyn Atagi's first career shutout.
