ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (September 21, 2018)-- Central Missouri fell to Missouri Western earlier tonight 1-0. Jennies fought hard and now move on with a record of 6-1-0 on the season.
How It Happened
• It was a while before any team was on the board, until the Griffons Sara Collins scored a header off of a corner kick to put them on the board in the 31st minute 1-0.
• That goal from the Griffons would be the first and last of the match.
• The Jennies led the Griffons in shots on goal 11-6.
• For the match, the Jens outshot the Griffons 24-16.

Jada Scott led the team with seven shots, and four shots on goal.

Kelsey Mueller contributed four shots, and one shot on goal.

• This loss snaps the Jennies 32 game winning streak, that dated back to August 31, 2017.
• This is the first time in program history that Missouri Western has defeated Central Missouri, the Jennies still lead all-time 24-1-0.
