Jennies Soccer defeats Northwest Missouri State

WARRENSBURG, Mo. (Sept. 14, 2018)—No 1. Central Missouri defeated Northwest Missouri State 4-1 at Jennies Field. The Jennies now improve their record to 5-0-0 on the season.

How It Happened
• It was not long before the Jennies were on the board, in the 12th minute Courtney Killian smacked one into the lower left corner of the net with the pass from Annie Parscale and the Jennies took the lead 1-0.
• In the second half of play, it was a little harder on the Jennies, as Jada Scott finds her way to the net in the 59th minute to improve the Jens lead 2-0.
• Right after that in the 63rd minute Maria Wilder dribbles right up to middle to meet the net and scores increasing the lead 3-0.
• The fourth and final goal came from Maykayla Toth just twenty seconds later in the 63rd minute to add another point to the board 4-0.
• The Bearcats got on the board in the 76th minute courtesy of a Jennies own goal to leave the final score 4-1.

Jennies Stat Leaders
• Jada Scott scored one goal, eight shots, and finished with four shots on goal.
• Makayla Toth contributed one goal, five shots, and three shots on goal.
• Courtney Killian one goal, and finished with two shots and three shots on goal.
• Annie Parscale led the Jennies with one assist.
• Maria Wilder also added one goal for the Jennies.

For the Bearcats
•The Bearcats had three players tied for three shots: Tanith Beal, Brianna Hersom, Madie Krueger.
• Brianna Hersom and Marissa Schmitt both added one shot on goal for the Bearcats.
•Goalkeeper Samantha Pesquiera grabbed six saves for Northwest Missouri State.

• Maria Wilder scored her first career goal as a Jennie against the Bearcats.
