WARRENSBURG, Mo. (Nov. 15, 2018) - Jennies Soccer will go head to head with MIAA foe Central Oklahoma in the Central Region Championship matchup in Michigan. This is the Jennies fifth appearance in the Central Region Championship game, and have won the past four appearances.

The Week Ahead
• The Jennies are coming off of a 2-0 week in Bemidji, Minnesota in the NCAA Tournament. The Jennies defeated No. 6 Augustana (SD) in the first round 3-1, before shutting out the No. 2 seed Bemidji 2-0.
• Heading into Central Region Tournament the Jennies were seeded No. 3 and are now set to take on the No. 1 seeded Central Oklahoma in the Central Region final.
• The Jennies entered the 2018 season ranked No. 1 in the United Soccer Coaches preseason poll (formerly National Soccer Coaches Association of America). UCM is coming off its eighth straight MIAA Regular Season championship, fourth MIAA Tournament championship, fourth straight Central Region crown, and a 2017 NCAA D2 National Championship Title

• UCM shutout UCO in their one and only meeting of the 2017 season. The game was played at Jennies Field, and the Jens won 3-0. The Bronchos and the Jennies
have met twice met once in the 2018 season. First in Edmond. where the Jennies fell 0-2 in the regular season. The second meeting was in the MIAA Championship where UCO came out on top 6-1.

Central Oklahoma Bronchos
• The Bronchos are coming off of a 3-0 semifinal victory over the Tigers of Fort Hays State. Before the Tigers, the Bronchos played Washburn in the quarterfinals defeating them 4-1.
• The Bronchos are led by senior forward Katie Killion, who has 29 goals on the season, 125 shots and 11 assists thus far. Senior forward Asha Haile is a player to watch with 17 goals, three assists, and 62 shots on the season. The Bronchos goalkeeper freshman Kelsi Gibson has 46 saves on the season and has faced 111 shots.
• This will be the third match-up between the Bronchos and the Jennies this season. On the season the Bronchos are leading the series 2-0.
• Head Coach Mike Cook has been with the program since it started, he has taken his team to the NCAA Tournament 12 times in 20 seasons of play.
• Central Missouri leads Central Oklahoma 9-6-3 all-time.
