The Week Ahead
• The Jennies coasted through the first round of the NCAA Tournament earlier this weekend against Augsutana (SD) in weather snowy conditions in Bemidji, Minnesota.
Jada Scott contributed two goals, and
Makayla Toth scored the game-winning goal for the Jennies in their 3-1 victory. The Jennies are now 17-4-1 on the season and are just one game away from the sweet sixteen.
• The Jennies enter the 2018 season ranked No. 1 in the United Soccer Coaches preseason poll (formerly National Soccer Coaches Association of America). UCM is coming off its eighth straight MIAA Regular Season championship, fourth MIAA Tournament championship, fourth straight Central Region crown, and a 2017 NCAA D2 National Championship Title.

Bemidji State
• The Beavers are coming off of a 3-1 victory over Minot State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Beavers have a home-field advantage, being a host school to the Central Region Tournament.
• The Beavers are led by senior forward Rachael Norton, who has 20 goals on the season, 104 shots and nine assists thus far. Sophomore forward Allyson Smith is a player to watch with 10 goals, seven assists, and 63 shots on the season. The Beavers goalkeeper senior Anna Fobbe has 90 saves on the season and has faced 179 shots.
• Head Coach Jim Stone enters his 17th season at the Bemidji State and is the winningest coach in Bemidji State University soccer history.
• Central Missouri and Bemidji State have never met, Sunday will be their first meeting.
