The Week Ahead
• The Jennies will have their first two game home stand of the season as they wrap non-conference play. UCM closes out its non-conference schedule against in a top-25 match against No. 23 Missouri Western State on Friday and begins MIAA play Sunday against Northwest Missouri State. Friday's game kicks off at 7 p.m. with Sunday's game set for 1 p.m.
• UCM's match against Missouri Western will be a top-25 match that features two of the best offenses in the country. The Jennies 65 points on 26 goals and 13 assists is tied for second in Division II, while the Griffons 74 points on 27 goals and 20 assists in the most in Division II
• The Jennies are ranked No. 4 in the country for the third straight week as they moved to 6-0 this year. UCM has won all six game in shutouts.

Ana Dilkes won her third straight MIAA Goalkeeper of the Week award after posting back-to-back shutouts for third time in as many weeks.
Series History
Missouri Western: UCM leads 21-0-0
The Jennies completely own the series against the Griffons having never lost a game in 21 meetings. Last season, UCM defeated Missouri Western twice by scores of 1-0 and 6-1, respectively. In the series, UCM has outscored MWSU 62-5.
Northwest Missouri: UCM leads 27-3-4
UCM and Northwest Missouri meet for the second time in as many weeks. The first meeting this season between the two went in favor of the Jennies, 4-0. UCM has now won 16 straight games against Northwest Missouri with 14 of them coming in shutout fashion.
Scouting Competition
#23 Missouri Western
• The Griffons are undefeated on the season coming into week four at 6-0 and are ranked No. 23 in the latest United Soccer Coaches Poll. Missouri Western is off to its best start in program history.
• Entering the 2017 season, Missouri Western was preseason picked to finish sixth in the MIAA Coaches Poll. The Griffons had a solid outing in 2016, finishing 11-7-1 and making it to the the MIAA Tournament.
• The Griffons have a veteran presence on the field this season as they return three All-MIAA players and 13 letterwinners from last season including junior Cassidy Menke whose nine goals and 19 points are both tied for the most in Division II this season.
• Helping out on offense is senior Sydney Cluck who has four assists to lead the team as well as four goals. Freshman Taylor Schwartzkopf is also in the mix with six goals and two assists this season which is second most in the MIAA behind Menke.
• Sarah Blakley anchors the Griffon defense that has allowed just three goals so far this season in their six game winning streak.
Northwest Missouri
• The Bearcats are 2-3-0 in the fourth week of the 2017 season. The Bearcats two wins are against the University of Sioux Falls (SD) and William Jewell College.
• After going 4-12-1 in the 2016 season and finishing 2-9-0 in the MIAA, the bearcats are picked to finish 10th in this season's preseason coaches poll with 32 points.
• The leadership role for the Bearcats will come from senior defender Hannah Goetz who will play a crucial role for a defense that will boast some younger players.
• Offensively, Izzy Romano leads the team in shots with 16, but has just one assist on the year. As a freshman, Romano was named Second-Team All-MIAA after leading the team in assists with six while scoring four goals. The leading scorer for the Bearcats right now is Danielle Wolfe who has four points on two goals scored.
• Tracy Hoza is in her 15th season as head coach for the Bearcats and is the winningest head coach in the program's history.
The Best Defense is a Good Offense
• The Jennies 26 goals this season are second most in Division II, just one behind MIAA foe Missouri Western.
• With 65 points so far this season on 26 goals and 13 assists, the Jennies are tied for second in Division II in total points.
• The Jennies are averaging 4.33 goals per game this season which good for third best in Division II in scoring offense.
• Offensively, UCM has outscored its opponents 26-0 through six games and has outshot opponents a combined 121-62 total and 70-29 in shots on goal.
• The Jennies 26 goals scored through the first six games of the season are the second most under Head Coach
Lewis Theobald. The 2015 squad has the most with 29 through six games.
Numbers Never Lie
• The Jennies have posted six straight shutouts to start the season for the second year in a row. The Jennies lead the MIAA in shutout percentage (1.000) and are just one of four teams left in Division II that has yet to allow a goal this season.
• The Jennies all around defense in shutouts (6), goals-against average (0.00), and save percentage (1.000) are tied for first in Division II this season.
• The Jennies are the only team left in the MIAA who has yet to allow a goal this season and their 29 saves through six games are the most in the conference as well.
• Through six games, the Jennies are ranked in the top three in total offense and are one the best defenses in Division II.
There's No Place Like Home
• Dating back to the 2016 season, the Jennies are 14-0 at Jennies Field and have allowed just two goals in that span.
• The Jennies have outscored opponents 43-2 in goals at home since 2016, and still have yet to allow a goal at home in two games this season.
• The Jennies last loss at home came in the 2015 season to Northeastern State when they fell 1-0. Since then, UCM has gone 21-0-1 at home and allowed just six goals in that span.
• All-time at Jennies Field, UCM is 124-26-7 with an .813 winning percentage. Under Head Coach
Lewis Theobald, the Jennies are 95-9-5 at home since 2007 and have posted undefeated home records three times.
