WARRENSBURG, Mo. (Jan. 13, 2017)-- The Central Missouri Mules Wrestling team will look to end its two dual skid as they travel to Kearney, Neb. to compete in the UNK Midwest Duals. The Mules will take on four teams at the UNK Duals in Colorado School of Mines, University of Mary, San Francisco State, and Southwest Minnesota State. Series History
Central Missouri vs. Colorado-Mines: 2-0-0
The Mules and Orediggers have a short history against each other, having only met twice with the Mules winning both times. Saturday's dual will the first time they've met since the 1991-92 season.
Central Missouri vs. Mary: 5-1-0
The Mules and Marauders last met in the 2014-15 season at the UNK Duals. UCM defeated Mary by a final score of 32-18. The Mules are 3-1 against the Crusaders under Head Coach

Central Missouri vs. San Francisco State: 3-1-0
The Mules own the overall advantage against the Gators at 3-1, but the last meeting between the two schools, 2011-12 season, had San Francisco State walking away on top, 31-13.
Central Missouri vs. SW Minnesota State: 9-1-0
The Mules have a sizeable lead over the Mustangs at 9-1, but the Mustangs one win came in the 2014-15 season. SW Minnesota State downed UCM, 31-16, at the UNK Duals.
Mat Points
• Central Missouri enters the UNK Duals with overall record of 4-2, and a 1-1 mark in MIAA competition.Â
• The Mules dropped their second straight dual after falling to top-ranked St. Cloud State, 41-6, on Jan. 12.
• The Mules still sit above .500 in duals this season with combined record of 31-24 and have an overall team record of 122-118 so far this season.
• The Mules are 1-1 against Super Region III opponents this season with their lone win coming against Drury, 25-24, earlier this year.Â
• UCM will take on a pair of Super Region III foes at the UNK Duals in Mary and Southwest Minnesota State.
Jesse Reser (165 lbs.) is having a solid campaign in his first season with the Mules, as he is 16-4 overall and 6-0 in duals this season.

Cody Carson (174 lbs.) continues to hold the top mark for the Mules with overall record of 21-5 entering the weekend.
• After the UNK Duals, the Mules will return home to face MIAA foe Lindenwood and Ouachita Baptist.
Scouting the Competition
Colorado School of Mines
• The Orediggers are 2-2 this season in dual competition with wins over Western Wyoming and No. 23 Simon Fraser.
• Robert Gambrell (174 lbs.) has the top mark for the Orediggers with an overall record of 14-2 and a 3-1 dual record.
• The Orediggers were picked to finish eighth in the Rock Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Preseason Coaches' Poll garnering 24 points and one first place vote.
Mary
• The Marauders are 3-2 this season in dual competition overall with a 1-1 mark in conference and have competed five tournaments this season.Â
• The Marauders are coming off a 25-10 in against Minot State on Jan. 8 and will look to carry that momentum into the UNK Duals.
• Leading the way for the Marauders this season is Tate Barnhardt at 133 pounds. His enters the weekend 10-3 overall and 5-0 in dual competition.
San Francisco State
• The Gators are just 2-7 this season in duals with their last dual win coming back in mid-December against Simpson University. Their only win came against No. 6 South Oregon
• The gators are currently sixth in the RMAC this season, but have yet to face in-conference opponent this season.
• Leading the way for the Gators is Nate Cervantez at 133 pounds with an overall record of 7-5 and a 6-3 dual record. Right behind him is Tyson Kuahine (165 lbs.) at 6-5 overall and 4-3 in duals.
Southwest Minnesota State
• The Mustangs are 3-6 this season overall and 0-1 in conference dual competition. The Mustangs have wins over Morningside (Iowa), Truman State, and New Mexico Highlands.
• The Mustangs have five wrestlers with at least 10 wins this season. Cortez Arrendondo (141 lbs.) leads the way at 13-9.
• This will be the second straight weekend the Mustangs compete at a dual invite. They competed at the Western State (Colo.) Duals on Jan. 7, where they went 1-3 on the day.
