WARRENSBURG, Mo. (Nov. 4, 2016)-- The fourth-ranked Central Missouri Jennies soccer team advanced to MIAA Tournament Championship after a 3-0 win over Lindenwood at Jennies Field on Friday afternoon. The Jennies improved their record to 18-1 overall and have won nine straight games.

Ana Dilkes collected four saves in eight shots faced to win her 18th game of the season and her 15th shutout.
The Jennies looked to push the pace early in their third matchup of the season against the Lions. They came out taking four shots in the first 10 minutes while holding the Lions to just one.
The Jennies broke through in the 22nd minute when redshirt sophomore
Jada Scott sent a far pass from the right side of the field to left end of the box where Killion nailed a perfect header into the high middle end of the net passed the goalkeeper's reach. Killion's goal is her third of the season.
Scott's assist bumps her career total to 12 which move's her into a tie for 10th all-time in program history with three other players. Scott now ranks in the top in program history in goals, points, and assists. She is eighth all-time in goals with 26 and ninth in points with 64.
The Jennies and Lions went back and forth for the next 17 minutes, combining for just three shots total as neither team found any rhythm on offense in that span.
In the 39th minute, the Jennies found an opening as Pyle took a pass from junior
Taylor Thompson at midfield, beat her defender one-on-one, went down the field and nailed her shot from the middle of the box past the goalkeeper to give the Jennies the 2-0 before halftime. Pyle's goal was her first of the game and Thompson's assist was her fifth of the season.
Central Missouri continued to control the pace of the match in the second half as they held the Lions to just four shots while taking 13, seven of which were on goal.
With less than 10 second remaining in the match, Lions goalkeeper Mary McGilvray handled the ball outside of the box and tried to pass to a teammate, but Pyle cut the pass off and nailed her shot into an open net from the top right corner of the box.
Pyle's two goals give her 31 for her career, which moves her into sixth all-time in program history. She passed Hazel Cox (2005-08) who has 30. Pyle point total also bumped to 81, which moves her into a tie for fourth all-time in program history with
Julie Ireland (2012-15) and Becky Lackey (2010-13).
Offensively, the Jennies took double-digit shots in both periods and finished with 23 total shots and 11 shots on goal.
Defensively, the Jennies held Lindenwood to just eight shots for their 17th shutout of the season.
The Jennies will take on the Central Oklahoma Bronchos in the MIAA Tournament Championship on Sunday Nov. 4. The Jennies only loss of the season came against the Bronchos, 2-1, back on Oct. 7 in Edmond, Okla. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
