WARRENSBURG, Mo. - The Jennies jumped up to No. 2 in the rankings in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America poll after posting two shutout wins last weekend. The No. 2 ranking is the highest the Jennies have ever been ranked. The only other time the Jennies were ranked No. 2 was in 2010.
• The Jens welcome Lindenwood to town on Friday evening, then go on the road to take on Northwest Missouri on Sunday. These two games and the October 23 game against Missouri Western will not count towards each team's conference record, but will still count towards each team's overall record.
Series HistoryLindenwood: UCM leads 6-2-0
The Jennies have shutout the Lions in all six of their victories in the series, and have outscored Lindenwood 20-7 overall. UCM has won the previous five matches in the series, and have won 4-0 in four of those games. Lindenwood's last win came in 1997.
Northwest Missouri: UCM leads 22-3-4
UCM has won the last 11 meetings between the two programs, and Northwest Missouri has not won a game in the series since 2008. UCM has shutout Northwest Missouri in nine of the last 10 meetings between the two. UCM has outscored NWMSU 35-1 in the last 10 games.
Scouting the CompetitionLindenwood • The Lions are winless in their last three games after beating Missouri S&T 1-0 in their season opener.
• The Lions most recently played to a 1-1 draw against Truman State.
• Alexis Robbers leads the team in goals with two, and also in points with four.
• Forward Becky Roberts leads the team in shots with nine, and is tied for the lead in shots-on-goal with Robbers with four.
• Goalkeeper Zoe Wetzel has started three games in goal for the Lions recording 14 saves and a .609 save percentage. Wetzel got the start in goal the last time out for Lindenwood and played all 90 minutes while recording six saves and allowing one goal.
• Lindenwood has been outscored 10-4 this season.
• Lindenwood is yet to score a goal against UCM since joining the MIAA in 2012.
Northwest Missouri• Northwest will play their home opener against Central Missouri, after playing their first five games of the season on the road.

Defense Wins Championships• The Jennies are second in the MIAA in goals allowed with one, behind only Northeastern State who has yet to allow a goal.
• UCM has recorded shutouts in three of their four games this season.
• The Jennies have allowed only one goal through their first four games of the year, which is the fewest goals allowed over the first four games of the season in program history.
