The Ichabods stormed out of the gates hitting two home runs and scoring five runs in the opening frame.

The Jens came back with a five-run inning of their own in the second to tie the game at five runs apiece. Ali Jo Rogers and Lindsey Dawson had the big hits of the inning, each driving in a pair.

Washburn scored one in the following half inning to regain the lead and the Jennies couldn't recover as the Ichabods scored runs in the fourth, sixth and seventh innings on their way to a 15-7 win.
