WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- The Jennies enter the MIAA Semifinals at No. 9 in the latest NSCAA poll. The Jens are coming off of a pair of 1-0 victories on the road over Lindenwood and Missouri Western to finish the regular season, and a 2-1 win over Washburn in the MIAA Quarterfinals.
After winning their sixth consecutive, and eighth overall, MIAA Regular Season Championship the Jennies look to repeat as MIAA Tournament champions. The Jennies also won the title in 2011. The Jens two MIAA Tournament Championships are the most of any school since the MIAA began sponsoring an MIAA tournament for women's soccer.
If the Jennies beat Fort Hays State they will advance to the MIAA Championship game to play the winner of the Northeastern State vs Central Oklahoma game.
Series HistoryFort Hays State:
UCM leads 4-2-0Every game in this series has been decided by one goal, and two of the six games have been decided in overtime. The Jennies have outscored the Tigers 8-6. Fort Hays won earlier this season 2-1 when the two teams met up in Hays, Kansas. UCM leads the series 2-1 in games played in Warrensburg. Two of the three games played in Warrensburg have gone to overtime, with each team winning once. Neither team has scored more than two goals in a game when they play each other.
Scouting the CompetitionFort Hays State:
• Fort Hays State is 4-5-0 on the road this season, with victories against Nebraska-Kearney, Emporia State, Northwest Missouri State and Washburn, and losses to Winona State, Upper Iowa, Northeastern State, Central Oklahoma and Missouri Western.
• The Tigers are led by freshman forward Cassi Moosburger, who leads the team in goals with four, and points with 12.
• Moosburger and Gabrielle Makatura are tied for the team lead in assists with four.
• Three different goalkeepers have started for the Tigers this season. Sophomore Kristen Thompson has received most of the playing time in goal, she has 55 saves and a .821 save percentage. Freshman Abbie Flax has also received playing time in goal, she has recorded 30 saves and a .909 save percentage. Senior Kimi Kaniaupio has started one game and recorded five saves while not allowing a goal.
• FHSU sits sixth in the MIAA in goals scored with 24. The Tigers are tied for second in the MIAA in goals allowed with 15. They also rank second in save percentage as a team with a .857 save percentage.
• The Tigers have outscored their opponents 24-15 this season.
Goals, Goals and More Goals• UCM is tied for 10th in total goals scored in NCAA Division II, and first in the MIAA with 57.

Julie Ireland is tied for 39th in goals with 12 in NCAA Division II.
• The Jens have scored 57 goals this season. The record for most goals scored in a season is 63, which was set during the 2011 season, and matched in the 2014 season.
Defense Wins Championships•
Ana Dilkes' .912 save percentage is tops in the MIAA, and
ranks fourth in NCAA Division II. Her 0.32 goals against average are also tops in the MIAA and ranks sixth in NCAA Division II. The Jens rank first in the MIAA in goals against average, and seventh in NCAA Division II with 0.37 goals allowed per game.
• The Jennies are ninth in NCAA Division II in shutout percentage with a .684 percentage. UCM has recorded shutouts in 13 of their 19 games this year.
• The Jens have only given up seven goals all season. The record for the fewest goals allowed in a season is nine, which was set in 1998. The least amount of goals allowed in a season under coach Theobald is 11, which was accomplished by the 2010 team.
