WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- The Jennies enter week six ranked No. 9 in the latest NSCAA poll, falling eight spots from their previous No. 1 ranking. The Jens hit the road for the second week in a row as they travel to Joplin, Missouri to take on Missouri Southern on Thursday. They'll then face Southwest Baptist Saturday afternoon. The Jennies and the Bearcats are currently in a four-way tie for second place in the MIAA, while the Lions currently sit at the bottom of the league. UCM and SBU have nine conference points, one point behind Central Oklahoma.
Central Missouri and Nebraska-Kearney are two of only three MIAA teams to win both games in week one of conference play.
Series HistoryMo. Southern: UCM leads 18-8-2
The two teams traded wins for most of the late 90s and early 2000s, but the Jennies have dominated the series since the start of the 2006 season. The Jens are 12-2-2 in the last 16 meetings between the two programs. UCM has outscored MSSU 57-28 head-to-head.
Southwest Baptist: UCM leads 25-8-2
The Jens shutout the Bearcats in the first nine meetings between the two schools from 1995-2001. SBU went on to win seven of the next 10 games from 2002-06. UCM leads the series 13-1-2 since the start of the 2007 season, allowing only 12 goals while scoring 44 over the same span.
Scouting the CompetitionMissouri Southern:• The Lions are 2-2-0 at home this season, with wins against Rogers State and Newman, and losses to Southwest Baptist and Northeastern State.
• Missouri Southern is coming off of a four-game road trip where they went 0-4-0, and were outscored 8-2.
• MSSU was 1-7-0 against MIAA teams at home in 2014. They're lone win came against Nebraska-Kearney in their MIAA home opener.
• The Lions are led by sophomore forward Hannah Bomar, who leads the team in goals with three and points with eight. She also has two assists this season.
• Senior goalkeeper Shawnee Phillips has been in goal all season for MSSU. She has recorded 61 saves and has a .718 save percentage. She has a 2-8-0 record and has recorded one shutout this season.
• Missouri Southern has been outscored by their opponents this season 24-12. The Lions have scored five first-half, six second-half and one overtime goal.
Southwest Baptist:• The Bearcats are back at home after going 3-1 on a four game road trip. SBU has won two in a row, and six of their last seven games.
• SBU is 1-1-0 at home this season, with a loss to then No. 6 Quincy, and a victory over Central Oklahoma.
• Southwest Baptist will play their MIAA home opener against Lindenwood before hosting UCM. SBU went 7-1 at home against MIAA schools in 2014.
• SBU is led by senior forward Karla Jamison who leads the team in goals with nine, and points with 20.
• Two different goalkeepers have started in goal for the Bearcats this season. Senior Cheyenne Forshey has started the last seven games for SBU and has appeared in eight games this season. She has a 6-1-0 record and has recorded 27 saves with a .730 save percentage. Sophomore Kaitlin Webb has started three games this year in goal, and is 0-3-0 with 10 saves and a .476 save percentage.
• SBU has been outscored 21-20 overall this season, but they have outscored their opponents 17-8 over their last seven games.
Goals, Goals and More Goals• UCM is third in total goals scored in NCAA Division II, and first in the MIAA with 38.
• The Jennies are fourth in NCAA Division II in goals scored per game with a 3.8 average.

Megan Woolley is tied for 25th in goals with eight in NCAA Division II.
• The 38 goals scored by the Jennies is a team record through the first 10 games of the season. The record for most goals scored in a season is 63, which was set during the 2011 season, and matched in the 2014 season.
Defense Wins Championships• Although they allowed two goals over the weekend, the defensive line continues to play well as they held Nebraska-Kearney and Fort Hays State to a combined 12 shots, with only five of those shots being on goal. The Jens have allowed only four goals all season.
• Dilkes' .917 save percentage is tops in the MIAA, and sixth-best in NCAA Division II. Her 0.31 goals against average is also tops in the MIAA and ranks fifth in NCAA Division II.
• The Jens rank first in the MIAA in goals against average, and eighth in NCAA Division II with 0.4 goals allowed per game.
• The Jennies are fifth in NCAA Division II in shutout percentage with a .700 percentage. UCM has recorded shutouts in seven of their 10 games this year.
Current Streaks• UCM has scored at least one goal in 34-straight games dating back to September 29, 2013 where they tied Emporia State 0-0.
The Sestercentennial Club• UCM's 4-0 victory over Emporia marked the 250th win in program history.
Road Warriors• The Jens have only lost four road games since the beginning of the 2010 season, and only one of those losses was at the hands of a school in Missouri.
