WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- The No. 8 Jennies soccer team earned a 3-0 shutout victory over eighth-seeded Northeastern State at the South Recreation Complex on Wednesday evening. The win snapped a two-game losing streak when hosting an MIAA Tournament match.

A pair of freshmen got the Jennies (18-0-1) on the scoreboard in the early stages of the match when Alex Yockey took a pass from Megan Woolley, finding the back left corner of the net from about 20 yards out from right center.

In the 28th minute, Woolley found junior Julie Ireland on about a 25 yard pass, who finished the play on a header to make it a 2-0 game in favor of UCM.

Woolley picked up her third assist on the night, finding Ireland again from about 30 yards out on the left side, who scored on another header.

Woolley is the first Jennie to tally three assists in a single match since Abby Rhodes against Northeastern State on October 20, 2013.

Ireland's two scores puts her season total at 11, matching her total from a season ago.

The Jennies outshot the RiverHawks, 10-7 and limited Northeastern State to two shot attempts in the first half.

Goalkeeper Ana Dilkes (18-0-1) set a new UCM record, picking up her 18th victory, the most for a freshman goalie. She needs one more win to tie the Jennies' single season record for victories in a season (Brooke Cooley, 2011). The Wichita, Kansas native saved one shot in the win and picked up her 11th shutout this season.

Central Missouri will face fourth-seeded Central Oklahoma on Friday at College Boulevard Activities Complex in Olathe, Kansas for a 4 p.m. first kick.
