WINONA, Minn. - The 11th ranked Jennies (0-0-1) soccer team's season opener resulted in a 0-0 tie in double overtime on Friday night at Winona State. 

Senior Becky Lackey and freshman Kayla Hamner each recorded five shot attempts on the night. Freshman Hannah Moran finished second with three. Hamner and Moran shared the team-lead with two shots-on-goal apiece. 

Central Missouri outshot the Warriors 20-11 with an 8-3 edge in shots-on-goal. Sophomore Morgan Hartzler recorded three saves (all in the first half) in 120 minutes of action.

Following Friday night's match, the Jennies' all-time season-opening road record now stands at 2-2-1 under seventh-year Head Coach Lewis Theobald

The Jennies will travel to Mankato to battle Minnesota State on Sunday, September 8 at noon.
