KAYS, Kan. -
The 23rd-ranked Central Missouri Jennies suffered their first loss of the season, falling on the road 95-50 to the 17th-ranked Fort Hays State Tigers.

Fort Hays came out strong to start the game, picking up the first two field goals and taking a quick 4-0 lead within the first minute of the game. After Nicole Caddell hit one of two free throws to put the Jennies on the board, the Lady Tigers put together the longest run the Jens have seen this season, scoring 30 straight points to go ahead 34-1 with 8:37 to play in the first half.

Central Missouri started to recover in the final eight minutes before halftime, as Caddell's jumper ended the drought at the 8:01 mark of the first half. UCM played even with the Tigers through the rest of the first half, and headed into the break down 47-15.

The Jennies played even with Fort Hays through the opening minutes of the second half, as Shelby Winkelmann scored four points over a two minute span.  At that point, Fort Hays put together another 11-0 run, stretching their lead to 67-24 with 14:16 to play.
