The Central Region is divided into Central Region I and II. The Jennies region consists of Minot State (15-3-3), the five seed, and Southwestern Oklahoma State (19-0-1), the four seed. The Jennies have a first-round bye by virtue of being the top seed and will face eighth ranked Southwestern Oklahoma State (20-0-1) in the second round Sunday at 1 p.m. from the South Recreation Complex.
The Bulldogs defeated the Minot State Beavers in the first round Friday, 3-0.
Central Region II will be at Minnesota State, the second seed. The Mavericks will battle Central Oklahoma in their second round match Sunday.
The Bronchos defeated fellow MIAA foe Fort Hays State, 2-0, in their first round match Friday.

Recent series results:

Southwestern Oklahoma State: If the Jennies meet the Bulldogs Sunday in the second round it will mark the third all-time meeting. The Jennies hold a 2-0-0 lead in the series. They last met in 2008 with the Jens taking a 7-2 win in the Central Oklahoma Classic in Edmond, Okla.
