(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) – The University of Central Missouri Mules and Jennies cross country teams both posted first place finishes in the Mule Run at Keth Memorial Golf Course in Warrensburg Friday evening. The Mules had 17 points and a total time of 1:43:19.38 while the Jennies posted 33 points and a total time of 1:19:31.00.
Mules junior
Laban Sialo (Kapsabet, Kenya) led all runners in the men's race, finishing first with a time of 20:06.80. The Mules would claim eight spots in the top ten as senior
Dalton Moberly (Kearney, Mo.) placed second; freshman
Ben Barrows (Smithville, Mo.) finished third, senior
Kevin Denny (Lee's Summit, Mo.) was fifth, sophomore
Tyler Stuber (Liberty, Mo.) placed sixth, junior
Bryson Jarman (Hannibal, Mo.) was seventh and freshmen
Adam Tredway (Louisiana, Mo.) and
Cameron Bogue (Dardenne Prairie, Mo.) finished ninth and tenth, respectively.
The Jennies saw three top-ten finishes in the women's race as junior
Kacy Hession (Willard, Mo.) finished in fourth place with a time of 15:25.00, sophomores
Brook Buerky (Kearney, Mo.) and
Ariel Dunn (Kearney, Mo.) placed sixth and seventh. Rounding out the top-ten finishes for Central Missouri was junior
Nicole Arnold (Warrenton, Mo.), who finished tenth.
Mules and Jennies cross country is back in action Saturday, September 24 at the Roy Griak Minnesota Invitational in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
