Box Score (WARRENSBURG, Mo.) – After trailing 33-11 at halftime, the No. 22 Central Missouri Jennies nearly pulled off the comeback, but ultimately fell short against the Lincoln Blue Tigers, 57-53. The Jens outscored the Blue Tigers by 18 points in the second half, but after shooting 19.2% from the field in the first half, the Lincoln lead was too much to overtake.
Lincoln scored the first seven points of the game, and started off on a 13-2 run. The lead stretched to 26-6 with 8:52 to play in the first half, as the Jennies suffered 12 turnovers, leading to 15 Blue Tiger points.
Breonna Embray hit a three with 46 seconds in the first half to cut the Lincoln advantage to 30-11, but Lincoln's
Freddie Sims answered with a trey of her own with three seconds before intermission.
The Blue Tigers scored the first five points of the second half before Central Missouri began their comeback run. A pair of free throws from
Shaquanda Wiggins kicked off an 11-0 run that cut the lead to 16 with 14:52 to play. The Jens took advantage of another run, outscoring Lincoln 11-0 over four minutes that reduced the lead to 43-38.

Alyssa Rhodes earned a steal that led to Wiggins' layup at the 3:51 mark, which gave the Jennies their first lead, at 48-47. The advantage was short-lived, however, as a three-pointer from Lincoln's
Arriana Walker gave the Blue Tigers the lead for good with 2:09 to play.
The 53 points scored is the lowest offensive output by the Jennies this season. Wiggins led the Jens with 11 points and seven rebounds, while
Saraethea Brown scored 10 points.
With the loss, the Jennies fall to 7-2 overall, and 2-2 in the MIAA. UCM is back in action Friday, December 16, for a non-conference tilt against Lewis (Ill.). Tipoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
