The Jennies first goal came only four minutes into the match, after Becky Lackey (St. Peter's, Mo.) found the back of the net off a pass from Carly Stanley (Desoto, Kan.) to make it 1-0 Central Missouri. Missouri Western would get on the board in the 16th minute after Teddie Serna threaded the ball to the bottom left corner of the goal just past Jennies' goalkeeper Brooke Cooley (Alton, Ill.) to tie up the score, 1-1.

The second half saw the Jennies jump back out-in-front in the 56th minute, when Stanley controlled a pass 15 yards out from the goal by Kristin Bright (Fenton, Mo.) and hammered it past Griffon goalie Kelly Voigts to give the Jennies the 2-1 lead. Central Missouri found the goal one more time in the match, this time in the 71st minute after Alyssa Rhodes (Olathe, Kan.) guided a pass from Kayla Shain (Olathe, Kan.) into the net to put the Jennies up 3-1.
The Jennies outshot Missouri Western 39-3 in the match, a season high in shot attempts for Central Missouri and the most since the Jennies 1-0 win at Washburn on September 15, when the Jennies outshot the Lady Blues 31-1.
Jennies' goalie Brooke Cooley collected one save in the second half and improved her overall record in goal to 9-1-0.
Lackey and Rhodes both picked up their fifth goals of the season Saturday night, while Stanley tallied her third goal and team-high seventh assist of 2011.
The Jennies return to action Thursday night at home, hosting the Washburn Lady Blues in an MIAA match at the South Recreation Complex. First kick is set for 6 p.m.
