(Dallas, Tex.) – Central Missouri had four different players step up and score a goal in a 4-2 victory over Dallas Baptist at Patriots Field in Dallas, Texas tonight. The Jennies were in charge the entire match, taking a decisive 22-5 edge in shots and a 13-1 advantage in corner kicks to beat the Patriots in the first-ever meeting between the two teams.

In the tenth minute of the match, junior defender Katie O'Keefe headed a corner kick by sophomore midfielder
Kayla Shain past the Patriot's goalkeeper to put the Jennies on the board. That goal is O'Keefe's first goal of the season and third of her career and was Shain's first assist this season and second of her career.
Central Missouri doubled its lead in the 30
th minute of play when freshman midfielder
Carly Stanley took the ball herself down the field and kicked it into the net. This goal is Stanley's first collegiate score of her career.
The Patriots got on the board with a goal in the 60
th minute by Allyson Bales that cut DBU's deficit in half.
Sophomore defender
Jenna Stones put the Jennies back up by two in the 69
th minute when she scored off a corner kick by Stanley. This is the first goal for Stones this season and her second of her career and Stanley's first assist of her collegiate career.
About five minutes later, junior forward
Cara Hennahane gave the Jennies their biggest lead of the game when she took a pass from sophomore midfielder
Alex Hess. This is Hennahane's first goal of the season and ninth of her career and Hess' first collegiate assist.
The Patriots scored their second goal of the game in the 84
th minute by Brittany Layne. She was assisted by teammate Stephanie Emmert.
Between the posts for the Jennies was first-year player
Linnsie McMahan, working for 79 minutes and recording her first victory of her collegiate career. Freshman
Brooke Cooley played for 12 minutes in the net for UCM.
The Jennies return to action on Saturday, September 4 when they face Texas Woman's University. Opening whistle from TWU Soccer Field in Denton, Texas is slated for 1:00 p.m.
