Ali Jo Rogers joined the UCM coaching staff in the fall of 2016 as a student assistant, after a stellar four-year career with the Jennies. She is now entering her first year as a graduate assistant.
Rogers's name is etched in history and she finished her career as the most prolific base-stealer in Jennies history. She became the first Jennie to ever steal 100 career bases, swiping 129 over four years. She set the single-season record with 49 in 2015. Rogers also became the Jennies all-time leader in runs scored, crossing the plate 157 times.
For her career, Rogers hit .297 with 192 hits, 13 home runs and 74 RBI. her 192 hits place her ninth all-time.
Rogers did more than just hit and run, she became the first Jennie to ever win the MIAA Defensive Player of the Year award, doing so at shortstop in her senior season. Her 398 assists in the field leave her fifth on the all-time list.
