SMITHVILLE, Mo. -- The Central Missouri Jennies golf team fired an opening round 363 and sits in 10th place after the first round at the MIAA Championship Tournament at Paradise Pointe on Monday. The second and final round takes place on Tuesday with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
Katie Threlkeld was the highest placing Jennie after the opening round with an 11-over 83 to come in a tie for 19th place.
Kayla Temple is in a tie for 34th place after shooting an 86.
Jordan Thoreson shot a 96 to come in 45th, while
Liz Boatright and
Krystal Martinez are two shots back in a tie for 46th.
Central Oklahoma has the team lead after the first round with a 13-over 301. Aly Seng of UCO is the individual leader with a one-under 71.
